I saw a photo of myself at a family wedding 8 years ago and I have not changed. This is not a good thing. What has been consistent, apart from the colour of hair, is that my weight has remained in the “you cannot be serious” category.  I’m tired of being the one in the photos who had to shop for what suited rather than what she fancied. A pretty face is no compensation for thighs that won’t fit into a regular pair of tights and lumps and bumps that refuse to be contained no matter how magic the pants.  So, if not now, when? When am I going to get it all under control? When am I going to accept that people who do not know me think I am lazy and uncontrolled just because of my size and do something about it?

These diaries are a record of food in and exercise out. They will be  of little interest to anyone else but the might highlight the triggers, the weaknesses and the successes that will work long term. They are being posted publicly only so I’ll be less likely to stop caring about the mouth hunger versus the nutrition of what I’m having.
